We hereby inform you in accordance with Art. 13, 14 and 21 DSGVO about the processing of your personal data by us and the claims and rights to which you are entitled in accordance with the data protection regulations. The Waisenkinder Tansania e. V. association takes the protection of personal data very seriously. In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address and e-mail addresses.

Purpose of data collection, processing and use
Waisenkinder Tansania e. V. collects and processes personal data from donors and interested parties that is necessary for the purposes of donor information, fundraising and donation management and to help us optimise our services. For example, we need your personal data to send you donation receipts and information material.
The collection, processing and use of data is carried out exclusively within the framework of the applicable data protection regulations. We guarantee that we do not sell or rent out any donor information.
When you make an online donation on our website, we collect various data required for the conclusion of the contract (such as your name and email address). The legal basis is the conclusion and performance of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 b DSGVO. The data is stored for the duration of the contract and in accordance with legal obligations. For payment processing, we use various payment service providers, which are always identified and directly accept your input and are therefore recipients of your personal data collected in connection with the payment process. The legal basis for the involvement of payment service providers is the processing of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 b DSGVO. Storage for the purpose of payment takes place for the duration of the payment processing.
Contacting us by e-mail or via contact forms
You have the option of contacting us via various contact forms on our website, e.g. for a change of address or name, notification of new bank details or a general enquiry. When you contact us by e-mail or via our contact forms (Become a sponsor or Become a member), the data you provide (e.g. your name, address or bank details) will be stored by us in order to process your enquiry. Insofar as we request information via our contact forms that is not required for contacting us, we have always marked this as optional. This information is used to specify your enquiry and to improve the processing of your request. We store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether the operators of these websites comply with data protection regulations. Rights regarding donor information and solicitation
If we process your personal data for the purpose of donor information and solicitation, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such solicitation pursuant to Article 21(2) DSGVO.
